Today, September 17, is Constitution Day, which marks the signing of the U.S. Constitution in 1787. Did you know that schools in the state of Indiana are required to talk to students about the significance of this day? I discussed this briefly with students in morning assembly. We talked about how the Constitution outlines the plan for our government and how it has only been changed 27 times over the course of history! It is widely considered to be one of the most important documents ever written!
