Parents:

The North Spencer Elementary Schools Performing Arts group is excited to bring you “Alice in Wonderland, JR,” in May 2018! We will be bringing together all four elementary school choirs to produce an amazing joint performance.

This musical will be open to all 4th, 5th, or 6th grade students in any of the four elementary schools and will take the place of the Spring Program. All choir students are expected to participate, however, any other student not currently in choir will be allowed to join for the performance. We are in need of students for actors/actresses, dancers, sound and light crew, and stage crew.

Most rehearsals will take place during the school day during choir class. For students who do not have the opportunity to be in choir, there will be a folder in google classroom for them to keep up with the material. We will also be holding some after school rehearsals for the entire cast to catch them up!

Students interested in a main speaking role or part will audition for it. We will hold auditions the following days and places:

Please make every effort to be at auditions if your child wants a speaking part. STUDENTS AUDITIONING MUST TURN IN AN AUDITION FORM TO SCHOOL NO LATER THAN NOVEMBER 10th. Students may attend any of the above auditions, no matter the school but please indicate which one for scheduling purposes. If you cannot make it for any reason, let Mrs. Collignon or Mrs. Klueh know. Please understand that students who audition and are selected for main parts will be expected to attend after school rehearsals depending upon their role. Most of these rehearsals are scheduled for Mondays or Tuesdays after school from 3:30-4:30 starting in January.

Performances will take place the first weekend of May at Heritage Hills High School. The exact dates and performance times will be determined by the number of students interested in participating. All students who choose to audition will have a part in the production.

If your child is interested in being a part of the production of “Alice in Wonderland, JR” please return the bottom of this form to Mrs. Collignon or Mrs. Klueh and select what roles he/she would like to audition for. If your child is wanting to read for a speaking role, they will need to pick up an audition sheet when they return the bottom of this form. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us! We are very excited to continue this collaborative production in North Spencer Schools!
